Common Uses and Benefits: Ylang-Ylang means “the flower of flowers” owing to its beautiful scent. Ylang-Ylang essential oil emits a sweet, floral, and uplifting aroma that makes you feel relaxed and calm. Historically, Ylang-Ylang essential oil was used to treat minor cuts, wounds, or burns. It was even considered to have the property of healing snake bites and insect bites. It was also used to address infections of the intestine, typhus, and even malaria. The aroma of the flower was also used for its aphrodisiac components. Today, it’s popular around the globe for its soothing effects that eliminate stress and anxiety. Advanced studies discover that Ylang-Ylang essential oil can reduces anxiety, reduces blood pressure, combats fungal infection, reduce malarial symptoms, increases sexual desire, diminishes acne, clears head lice, boosts self-esteem, promotes hair growth, repel Insects, and nourishes dry skin. It has been widely used in skin care, perfumes and home products.
Directions: Our Ylang-Ylang essential oil is safe for use on skin, with diffusers, or in room sprays.
For skin use, dilute with carrier oils to a 1-3% dilution ratio. Safe to use topically with children 2 years of age and older. A 1% or less dilution is recommended for kids' use. We suggest to do a patch test of the product first before use. Rub a dime-sized area of your forearm with the thyme oil diluted in a carrier oil. If you don’t see any allergic reactions within 24 hours, it should be safe to use.
Breathe in your favorite essential oils by adding a few drops to an essential oil diffuser, personal diffuser locket or car diffuser in your home, office or car.
Enjoy an all- nature DIY home spray by just mixing 10 to 50 drops of essential oils in 6 oz distilled water with or without 2 oz witch hazel in a spray bottle. Shake well before use.
