Common Uses and Benefits: Geranium oil is extracted from the flowers and leaves of the geranium plant. It is considered nontoxic, nonirritant, and generally non-sensitizing. Its therapeutic properties include being an antidepressant, an antiseptic and a wound-healing. Geranium oil may also be one of the best oils for a variety of very common skin problems including oily or congested skin, eczema, and dermatitis. Egyptian geranium essential oil is an outstanding skin-balancing oil that can improve the overall skin complexion. It is also well known for its benefits on the reproductive health of women and its benefits in easing the tension associated with the stress of daily life. It is often used as a wrinkle reducer, skin enhancer, muscle helper, infection fighter, urination increaser, natural deodorant, possible Alzheimer’s disease and dementia preventer, respiratory infection killer, nerve painkiller, anxiety and depression reducer, anti-inflammatory agent, insect repellant and bug Bite healer.
Directions: Our Geranium essential oil is safe for use on skin, with diffusers, or in room sprays. For skin use, dilute with carrier oils to a 1-3% dilution ratio. Safe to use topically with children 2 years of age and older. A 1% or less dilution ratio is recommended for kids' use. We suggest to do a patch test of the product first before use. Rub a dime-sized area of your forearm with the geranium oil diluted in a carrier oil. If you don’t see any allergic reaction within 24 hours, it should be safe to use. Breathe in your favorite essential oils by adding a few drops to an essential oil diffuser, personal diffuser locket, or car diffuser in your home, office, or car. Enjoy an all- nature DIY home spray by just mixing 10 to 50 drops of essential oils in 6 oz of distilled water with or without 2 oz of witch hazel in a spray bottle. Shake well before use.
