Common Uses and Benefits: There are over 400 different species of eucalyptus. Eucalyptus globulus, also known as Blue Gum, is the main source of eucalyptus oil used globally. The jolly and woody aroma of Eucalyptus is a favorite to many due to the presence of a compound called 1,8 cineole, also known as eucalyptol. Even the Koala Bears love this plant, and it is their primary food source. The Australians have been using it forever. Eucalyptus has a number of medicinal properties and potential health benefits. Its uses are versatile. From wounds to colds, it is known to be beneficial and can be used for many things, such as antimicrobial properties, Colds and respiratory problems, dental care, Fungal infections and wounds, insect repellent, pain relief, stimulating immune system. Also other conditions that eucalyptus may help with include arthritis (potentially due to its anti-inflammatory properties), a blocked nose, wounds and burns, ulcers, cold sores – perhaps due to its anti-inflammatory properties, bladder diseases, diabetes – eucalyptus might help lower blood sugar, Fever and Flu.
Directions: Our 100% pure eucalyptus globulus essential oils are safe for use on skin, with diffusers, or in room sprays. For skin use, dilute with carrier oils to a 1-3% dilution ratio. Children are more sensitive to essential oils, so care should be taken when using eucalyptus with children. Do not use if pregnant. We suggest to do a patch test of the product first before use. Rub a dime-sized area of your forearm with the eucalyptus oil diluted in a carrier oil. If you don’t see any allergic reactions within 24 hours, it should be safe to use. Breathe in your favorite essential oils by adding a few drops to an essential oil diffuser, personal diffuser locket, or car diffuser in your home, office or car. Enjoy an all-nature DIY home spray by just mixing 10 to 50 drops of essential oils in 6 oz distilled water with or without 2 oz of witch hazel in a spray bottle. Shake well before use.
