Common Uses and Benefits: Clary sage belongs to the genus Salvia which is highly renowned for its wide range of benefits for human health. Clary sage has its history as an herb that was initially used as a tea. Nicholas Culpeper, a brilliant English herbalist, botanist, and physician of the 17th century, found that seeds and oil of this herbaceous plant are incredibly useful for eye health. Moreover, many ancient medical practitioners and physicians proved that clary sage and its oil can help wounds heal faster and lower infections. Along with using clary sage essential oil for eye health and healing wounds, it has been started to use for many other purposes as the latest scientific research has revealed its benefits, including Antidepressant effects, Blood pressure lowering and anti-anxiety effects, Anti-inflammatory effects, Improved mental function, and Antibacterial effects, etc.
Directions: Our 100% pure Clary Sage essential oils are safe for use on skin, with diffusers, or in room sprays. For skin use, dilute with carrier oils to a 1-3% dilution ratio. Safe to use topically with children 2 years of age and older. A 1% or less dilution ratio is recommended for kids' use. We suggest to do a patch test of the product first before use. Rub a dime-sized area of your forearm with the clary sage oil diluted in a carrier oil. If you don’t see any allergic reactions within 24 hours, it should be safe to use. Breathe in your favorite essential oils by adding a few drops to an essential oil diffuser, personal diffuser locket or car diffuser in your home, office or car. Enjoy an all nature DIY home spray by just mixing 10 to 50 drops of essential oils in 6 oz distilled water with or without 2 oz of witch hazel in a spray bottle. Shake well before use.
